In my personal experience, here is what works to choose the best-fit-for-purpose talent:

  • Evaluate Candidates Effectively: Carefully review resumes to identify candidates who meet qualifications. Use coding challenges, technical tests, or practical assignments to assess technical skills.
  • Make the Right Offer: Offer a competitive salary and benefits package that aligns with market standards. Highlight opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
  • Onboarding and Integration: Provide a comprehensive onboarding program to help new hires get up to speed quickly. Set a clear set of measurable objectives and a robust tracking mechanism.
